So, sewing along, my machine's been kinda funky, but it's been a trooper. Finally today it just sort of ground to a halt, and was birdnesting underneath the seam. (That's when the bobbin thread bunches up and gets weird.)
So after much FFFFFFing and desperately googling, I unscrewed the needleplate and peeked inside.
Oh.
HERE'S YOUR PROBLEM, MA'AM.
I brushed out enough lint that when it was balled up, it was roughly the size of a hampster.
...Oops.
RIGHT THEN.
BACK TO THE GRIND.
Gotta finish the armbands/neckpiece tonight so that I can devote tomorrow to sewing rose petals, and the next day completely to sewing on roses.

If you haven't heard, SCAD lost a dear Professor today- Jeremy "Sweetwater" Mullins. I never had the privilege of having him in class, but from our encounters and silliness in the hall, I knew that he was rad and an amazing guy.
Someone on Facebook said it best. We should do what Sweetwater would want us to do. Go make damn fine comics. So if you can spare the time, draw a comic for him. Not about him, he'd probably be unhappy about that. But do it for him. I'm drawing Confessions. As the Webcomics teacher, he would completely kick my ass that I haven't updated in a year. So I'm getting off my lazy ass and drawing it for Sweetwater.
Pass it on, okay? Damn fine comics, go draw em.

Unfortunately, my way of sewing the tutu is NOT behaving. My ruffling foot is throwing FITS. It's refusing to gather- I might just have too many layers of tulle. I'll need to ruffle each individual piece and then sew them together. FFF. It's what I should've done in the first place, but, augh.
Drawing tonight, probably. e_e I SERIOUSLY need to get back my drawing mojo.

It needs two more strands and the plumes- I finished the two other strands yesterday; I'll glue them in when the plumes come.

I should be sewing within the next few days. Things have been kind of a wreck around here, so I haven't had the time, or the heart to sit down and sew... Hopefully soon. My goal is to be good and done with Doll within two weeks, so I have plenty of time to work on Regene, and possibly Mugi, too. I don't know about Mugi yet. I need someone for the third day, and I really fear that Yoite will just be WAY too hot in the summertime.

Why do I care so much about what people think about me?
I guess it's because humans are social creatures. I know I'm loved by my friends, why can't I just be satisfied with that? I shouldn't be so greedy. I should be grateful. Why have I become so selfish that I want everyone to like me? I want to be strong and brave like people want me to be- like I should be. But I feel somewhere inside I haven't as much strength as they think I have, that I'm not strong or brave.
When did everything get flipped over? When did things I enjoy start making me sad? when did the cute moe girl turn into something so twisted and broken up inside? When did I get so messed up? I disappoint so many.
